Please read these terms before using Text Humanize. By using the website or its tools, you agree to them.

1. About these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and the operator of text-humanize.com (“Text Humanize”, the “service”, “we” or “us”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. The service

Text Humanize provides free, web-based writing tools, including an AI-assisted rewriting tool (the “humanizer”) and a writing-pattern checker (the “AI detector”), together with educational articles. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. The service is supported by advertising.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you’re under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms and that you’ll follow your school’s rules.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and in line with our responsible use policy. In particular, you must not use the service to:

  • submit work for assessment as your own original work where the use of AI or rewriting tools is not permitted, or otherwise breach the academic integrity rules of your school or institution;
  • misrepresent authorship where honesty about authorship is required, such as in regulated professional work, journalism or legal documents;
  • plagiarise, or infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights, including by rewriting someone else’s work to disguise its source;
  • create spam, fake reviews, misinformation, scams, impersonation or content intended to deceive or manipulate people;
  • produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing or that sexualises minors;
  • submit personal data about other people without a lawful basis;
  • disrupt the service, get around rate limits, scrape it at scale, or access it through automated means other than our public interface without permission.

We may block access or refuse requests if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the text you submit and the results you receive. You grant us a limited permission to process your text only as needed to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to submit the text and for how you use the results.

6. No guarantees about results

Output is generated automatically by AI models and may contain errors, change meaning, or be unsuitable for your purpose. You should always review and edit it before use.

We make no promise that text processed by the humanizer will or won’t be identified as AI-generated by any detector, including Turnitin, GPTZero or our own AI detector. AI detection scores are statistical estimates and must not be relied on as proof of authorship.

7. Intellectual property

The website, its design, code, logos and articles belong to us or our licensors. You may share links to our articles and quote short passages with attribution. Please don’t copy or republish substantial parts without permission.

The service relies on third-party providers (such as AI model providers, Google Analytics and Google AdSense) and links to other websites. We aren’t responsible for third-party content, products or practices.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any academic, disciplinary, employment or legal consequences resulting from how you use the service or its output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer you keep any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
